Dave grew up on a small farm in North Central Indiana and began working at a young age with his dad. Mending fences, delivering baby livestock, baling and stacking hay, riding horses, building barns, and assembling forts in the trees with whatever random stuff he could find—basic kid stuff! His introduction to work and tools early in life set him on a trajectory that has served him well as a homeowner and in the aerospace R&D industry, where he has worked for the past 15 years.
Having owned a number of homes, he has continuously worked to upgrade and maintain them for his family while developing additional skills and experience along the way. Dave serves his customers with integrity and quality so that they can enjoy their home with their families for many years to come.
He’s partial to a warm spring morning with coffee, a good book, and the birds on his back porch when the world is still quiet…but for the songs.
Reuben is Dave’s youngest son and is a junior in high school. He is learning a lot of useful skills working with Dave on Hipskind & Sons projects as he prepares for graduation and the next phase of his life.
His greatest interests right now are cool, fast cars with loud stereos, and awesome fireworks displays. After high school, Reuben plans to attend an automotive vocational school and build a career in the automotive industry.
